Cowgirl Card
This card uses the Thrust Stage template, which positions a small figure (the cowgirl) in front of three other layers. The frontmost stage sticks forward like a dock or a thrust stage in a theater. I wanted the cowgirl on the right, so I simply used the template upside-down to reverse the pattern. The thrust stage separates the long middle stage into two parts. You can either attach separate figures on either side, or, as I did here, make a notch in the stamped figure. 
The trees on either side of the card and the angled rocks in the middle are part of a single stamp. The conical mountains in the back are attached to the small upper stage. The sun, clouds and birds are stamped on the back of the card. Aside from the sun and clouds, everything was stamped in black. I then colored everything with colored pencils.Stamp Sources:
